For me simplicity has always been #1 on my list. I made an exception though when I made my display/growing benches. But for a simple work station that is as simple as it gets with easy storage and portability, I use this easy open easy close Stanley work bench. Notice the simple turntable also, and the little space it takes when folded up. It would be ideal to take to an informal workshop if your club does things like that.
