I like the double trunk idea. Looks like the left trunk is thicker, so it should be the taller of the two. I would either bend it so it was straight with the bottom of the tree, or plant the whole thing on a tilt to the right, and bent both trunks vertically. Either way you prevent the "slingshot" look. I like your tree, and im actually curious as to why there aren't more spruces out there.
