Thanks also. You're right about that lower branch. It'll eventually be removed. The next-lowest, on the left, may go as well. We'll see.

The biggest problem with this tree is the long relatively taper-free, movement-free section that begins just above the second branch.

For now, I'm just enjoying the process of learning about the annual care cycle for this tree, watching it respond with vigor and ever-improving health.
