Cats doing damage to your trees?
Here's a tip from someone who has solved the problem.
Sprinkle some chili powder on the benches and on to the soil of the trees. You will only have to do this for a coup;e of weeks.
I love cats and have two of my own as well as about half a dozen of the neighbours cats who come to visit. They all get fed and get a lot of fuzz, but.......... DON'T GO NEAR MY TREES!
My big Tom used to do his business in one of my large pots (they love the nice crumbly soil. But since the chili poder treatment , none of them will go near my trees. Cats learn quickly and have god memories and I don't have to put the chili down anymore now.
I have been relibly informed that no lasting damage is caused to either the trees or the cats and they learn very quickly not to go where they are not wanted. ( It is also quite funny to watch them sneeze their little heads of for a few minutes >

)
Hope this helps to keep future intruders at bay.
