hi. I have airlayered a wisteria a few months ago and today i haven't found any long roots, only 2 short ones.I've figured that it was because i didn't make the cuts clean and because the soil mix was too water retentive. So i recut a ring in the bark and changed the soil mix.The growing season is ending in september, but i will keep my wisteria in a greenhouse where it will have 20 C all the time. This means that it will skip dormancy for a year. i brushed the cut with rooting hormone and i have also added some in the nearby soil, just to make sure, overall i have added one small rooting hormone recipient, envelope however you want to call it.I was wondering if too many hormones can actually inhibit the root formation. Second question: can i water once a week with willow water to aid in the formation of roots

Thanx
