Re: bonsaial's shohin trident maple

Peter: Who are you talking to? As to the dieback on your shohin trident. If the limbs do drop out you may have to put your shohin tree into a growing pot and inarch or thread graft new limbs onto your tree. Anyway all is not lost as long as the crown of the tree is still viable. This is a good example of working on a tree with out really knowing the consequinces of the techniques that you have applied. Give your little shohin good aftercare and hope that it returns to good health. I see that you are talking to Al Keppler so you can strike the who are you talking to question.
