Yes some of my trees are insured. The insurance covers natural disasters and theft.
The theft part costs me the most.
The insurance company required me to fence in my back yard. No small feat because the backyard is an acre of land. Almost $8000 later it was done.
I had to go for a $500 deductible. Not great but not bad.
The insurance that cost me the most was for my classes and the occasional demo that I do.
Believe it or not I had to get a one million dollar personal liability insurance for that because I occasionally use a die grinder and a 12 inch chain saw.
No insurance company will cover a tree if it dies. That comes out of my pocket.
