i ordered some acer palmatum "deshojo" from a grower recently.
the plants were shipped defoliated and bare-root.
the plants came in good condition, no apparent grafting scars though, so i think they are deshojo roots [which i have heard are notoriously finicky] i potted them imediately, in a 25% inorganic 75% organic mix in 1 gallon nursery pots and put them in the shade outside. this was all on the 9th, my question to you is how long before i should see buds, and do you have any other recomendations or did i miss anything?
