Believe It To Be A Spruce Of Some Sort.

Hello again.....

This spruce (unk var..) was potted in another glazed (bad from the get go) pot thru the winter....however the pot was not liking the 20 below plus days that we have on occasion and decided to split. pun intended

So I gathered up the closest sized pot that I have and put it in this for now. this is a Sara Raynor oval with feet.

Not exactly a perfect match, but I need to get the perfect match. So until then.....the pot is pretty eh?

This has been in bonsai pots for two seasons. This will be its third, but the repot, was perhaps a bit premature.

The foliage in the picture seems bluish tint. Mostly from the flash at nite, but it does have a tint. I am hoping it isnt a fungus, but at closer inspection, it seems to be just the color... I know little about spruce as bonsai, and have only this one. Are any of you familiar with any of this?

I will photograph it during the day tomorrow and present it here. It has always had this "hue" to it. and I was wondering if anyone can identify it by its foliage (as to which spruce it is)

Some detail wiring and some clean up is at hand. And if fungus is among us....take care of that too.....

Paul
