pics are kinda blurry, try using a tripod. It's a good looking little maple, if you plan to repot, insure you do this within season, you don't want to be wiping out your investment. The best time for a repot on maples is going to be in the end of dormant season, when buds on the tree have begun swelling and just before they leaf out (looks like you missed it this year). At this time, you will also want to address those young crossing roots. I would seek some advice at your local club, and do plenty of research before doing the root work and repot. Others here may have more to add on the repot subject.
