Sustainable thinking. I like that. I am moving soon from Oregon to Mass. and the cost of that trip is horrendous. Gas is over $2 here. We have done the conservation thing before, we can do it again. Nothing will ever keep me from my bonsai habit. Even if it means collecting seedlings as they sprout. It could become a whole new "thing". Seeing how many different kinds of plants can be successfully bonsaid.
As for mad cow disease and milk..............my understanding, Matt, is that the dairymen sold their cows because milk was so cheap. It wasn't worth it for them to stay in the biz. The less milk there is to sell, the more expensive it is. I live in a town right next to one of the processing companies of that one mad cow. The amount of beef being sold has not decreased at all. The vanity of the waistline has won out over the fear of mad cow disease. Go figure (no pun intended).
