Jacob, take your time before concluding that a tree is dead. Wait until you're positive.....then wait 4 more weeks. Twice in the last few months I concluded that trees were dead and pulled them out of the pot only to discover obviously healthy root growth. Gosh, I'd like to have thse two trees back! A tree can sulk for long periods of time for all sorts of reasons known only to the tree. Let it take it's time coming out of it!
