I think i know the answer to my own question here, but i thought i'd look for other opinions. I recently recieved a Deshojo Maple, sent from Oregon to Philadelphia. It's a nice tree, but it's growing in a "dirt/mud" type soil mix (with about half a handful of Akadama dust on top...not fooling anyone). I know that this soil needs replacing, and that these next few weeks would be the correct time for repotting, however i wonder if it would be too much for the tree, having already endured the journey across the states. Any advice would be welcome.
