Shrivelled Trunk (Ficus Retusa)

I went away for 4 days. I watered all my plants and trees that needed it, as I normally would before I left. When I got home last night I noticed some yellowed leaves on one of my Ficus retusa's.When I started checking the tree closer I noticed the trunk looks like a prune on one side! The trunk is still hard even in that area. Anyone experience this or know the cause? I have never had this happen before.I am sure this was not like this before I left.
