Photos always help.

It won't thicken much in a bonsai pot relative to the growth you'd see in the ground or even a training box, but it will grow some.

It has the potential to be any height you want - or if you put it in the ground, to grow into a large landscape tree. In the container, its height will progress more slowly, but gaining height should not be a problem.
