Everything I have read agrees with the above advice...junipers don't make it inside.

Most people advise trying a ficus for inside. They must be kept inside during the cold times and thrive inside. Also, bouganvillea is good. If you start reading up, you will see that even these will benefit by being outside during warm summer days and evenings. Sheflara is good too, but you can't really shape them like most bonsai. If you do a search for "Indoor Bonsai" on the web you will find all kinds a great advice.
