Fish, the clump style tree is very well done. I hate to ask, have you been doing the refining or did you grow this out yourself? Either way is is really nice.

Al, Thanks. I've only had the tree for a couple of years, so no growing out for me. As for the refining you mentioned, I've let this tree get away from me last year. this year I will have to concentrate more.

.....if i may make a personal observation,(and a question)the main trunk seems to be tilted.is that intentional?

Andy, I'm tempted to dream up some reason why the trunk is a few degrees from the upright, but to be perfectly honest it was last year's repotting oversight. I didn't even notice it until I took a picture. I'd like to correct that and also get the tree lower in the pot this year (there IS a good reason for that part), but the new buds are very, very small, so I think I'll leave it another year to be safe.
