I have mentioned it before but now I really need some help. I have said before that I have always admired this hobby from afar but had my wife thrust me into it for christmas. I have been taking the best care I can of my little "nana" hoping it will make it to spring when I can place it outside where it belongs . So how do I get from here(4ft snow and frozen solid ) to the time when things start growing .I have several good books that were recommended in the back pages of these posts that I have read from cover to cover to cover filling my head with more ideas than a virgin on a first date.
A major stumbling block that I do forsee is the lack of availability of any new trees or advice(the in person kind ) I have visited a couple of local nurseries and they didn't have any material at all ,no trees, books ,tools or even anyone to bounce a couple of ideas off as near as I can tell I may be the only person on this island in the north atlantic who has more than a passinng interest in these little trees. At least one that lasts longer than it takes for a malsai to die.I end this and place my sanity in your capable hands
