I have two of their Scheffs and am very happy with the plants. I would be curious to know what you feel is the major downfall of the website or the product. If you take the time to read the site, Dave Fukumoto is very involved in the art, heart and purpose of bonsai. I think that his product is a very good alternative to the dying juniper "mallsai" that we all may start with. I also think that the dwarf shefflera makes a very nice tropical bonsai. But that is just me and I am not a purist, just a jive rookie. It's like the wine I drink. I drink it because I like it, not because of what it is. Same with bonsai, I am still new enough to this to not know why the Fuku-Bonsai is not "real"
