Matt,
You may have to concede to the fact that you may have to uproot and go where the jobs are. I know you probably don't want to hear that because it's devastating to have to leave other family members and friends behind. That was the same decision I made almost 24yrs. ago. Keep an open mind my friend, and do what you feel you have to, to take care of your family.
