Hey all.
Another rookie here (hence the user name).
My dubdubdub time is usually spent at intheguard.com (martial art site) but we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties. I hope to poke around here a bit.

Props to the moderator(s) here, super responsive, helpful & informative. Looks like a great forum with a ton of knowledge, I can learn a lot from you cats. I'll have a few Qs and hope I can contribute.

I'm in SoCal and have the basic novice quiver of tree stock. A couple junipers, couple maples, throw in a ficus and a shrub or 2, all of which could be considered "plants in containers" at best, but I'll get there.
