Been doing bonsai for about 15 years. Basically rebuilding a collection for the third time...

Focus is primarily on collected TX natives/naturalized species:

Bald Cypress (my real passion!)
Cedar Elm
Water Elm
Live Oak
Mexican Olive
Chinese Tallow
Persimmon
Yaupon Holly

But I also have an extensive collection of tropicals and more traditional species like junipers, Black & Red Pine and lately, Trident maples. Sizes range from mame to 6-hands... I actually probably have one of everything!

I teach when someone will listen and am active in the nearest club(s). May start a local one if I ever get the time.
