The small tree in the center of the post was a large Procumbens juniper that I chopped down to shohin size. I had posted the whole exercise and how to on the old forum, the text is still there but the pitures are gone. I had done an emergency repot on this tree in the summer of 2002. The tree responded to the repot and decided to start growing again.
Today after checking out the tree, I decided that it had grown enough to start working on again. I pruned back the larger main branches near the bottom and decided that the tree was never going to look like I wanted it to. Th only branch on the left was styled from a branch that was bent over from the right, crossing the trunk and looking rather silly. The whole tree is styled on one branch.
