Walter sees this tree in a custom-made pot, perhaps a crescent pot - one of huge proportions, I'm afraid. It will be transplanted into a decidedly more average pot this winter, waiting until I can afford the pot it deserves.

We spent quite a bit of time discussing and demonstrating Walter's blow-torch techniques for generating more natural looking jin and shari. I'll be spending this weekend with my wife's creme brulee torch, I think.
