You might want to relocate some of your trees. Put anything top-heavy on the ground and move anthing that might fall over on your trees.

I have a couple of inches of gravel on the floor of my bonsai area and that has saved my bacon a couple of times from falling pots. Not earthquakes, but cats, wind, and who-knows-what.
