Raw whips can be tough to arrive at an interesting conclusion. You seem to have done a great job.
hint:
on the branches you wish to jin... let the wire cut into the bark deeply. You may want to re wire it too to make a few more scars in it as well before you make the jin. What that does is create some texture for you to work with. I've done that a few times.. though I don't have any photos for examples... but I have always liked what nature did to the branches before any carving.
