As to the first part of your question, I have no idea what I should ask for. On the one hand, I don't want to ask for too much for fear of seeming immodest, on the other I don't want to ask for too little and appear ignorant. Once I get serious about offering this and about ten other trees for sale, I'll probably consult two or three professionals about the pricing issue.
To give some indication, the pot cost me about $600.
Sorry for not being able to be more specific. But I would appreciate hints as to what I _should_ ask for. ;-)
As to the second part of your question, it is no problem to bring trees like this into the US. This particular group was exhibited at the Rochester Symposium twice, and we transport trees across the border quite regularly without a problem. Plants are not subject to duty and can be imported provided they are accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, which certifies that the plant is free of certain specified diseases and insects.
