I have had this tree for about 7 mths. I bought it from my bonsai teacher and he bought it from his about 20 years ago. It does live outside and only receives afternoon sun. It was repotted befor I bought it. I water it every day around 6 pm and i have a sprinkler system to do the watering. And for the leaves they are just brown. They come off very easy but they are not the dry colored brow. If you know what I mean.
