Same thing happened to me awhile back, Post. But i have a questions for you. What did you use to prune it? Scissors?
If you did than that might be your problem. If you didnt than its some other problem and we're both lost. Did the tips that you pruned turn brown?
You see i had a juniper that i pruned with scissors and the same thing happened, the foliage got hard and dry but stayed green and fell off when it was touched.
Now, when you prune a juniper, you should ALWAYS prune by pinching out the buds, pinching, pinching, because i believe junipers have some kind of bad reaction to pruning with scissors. Now i could be ignorant and just in denial that i killed it somehow!
