San Jose Juniper
This san jose juniper was purchased for it's nice taper and lots of usable branches. It was pruned back in Sept 2001 and then sat on the pre bonsai bench until March 2002 when it was wired (2nd photo). I didn't take a photo before first pruning, but it was a bush about 3' (~1 meter) across. It's in a mica training pot. Dimensions 9.5" H x 14" W, 2.5" base diameter at soil. (24cm x 35cm, 6.4cm). Comments and virtuals are welcome and appreciated.
