Glad to hear that I was not the only one that has a nice place to go to.
Many years ago I had the fortune of going to Bisham woods. A neat place.
The village in the upper left hand quadrant of your picture had a pub called the Bird in Hand I believe. Run by an elderly couple named MC "something or the other". Probably gone by now but thoroughly nice people.
I keep trying to pick out the building but it was a long time ago. The early 60's
At the time I lived in Essex. A small village named Fitchenfield. ( Gosh I hope I spelled that right)
At the time I was married to an English girl. A red headed fireball named Lorraine. Obviously that didn't last.
But it was a happy time
)
Many years before I got into bonsai though.
But I do have fond memories of the place.
