this will look very unprobable to you. I can assure you that it is not.
The fourty degree tilt to the right is possible with the crescent pot holding the roots as they are. You will have to fix the tree with strong copper wire so that it can stand alone without the help of a rock. It IS possible.
The most unlikely thing to most insiders will be the treatment of the crown. Ponderosa bonsai just don't look like this - IN GENERAL.
See the two attached ponderosas form my collection. They looked a bit like your's a few years ago.
