Here is a new cork bark Japanese black pine that I got while I was in Seattle last week from Bonsai Northwest (Pinus thungergii var corticosa or some such thing - the cultivar name was not labeled). It stands about 18 inches high, I think! (can't find the tape measure tonight)
It's a great nursery, I was really impressed with all of their stock. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera and was not able to take pictures of the nursery. They had some very nice pine stock, I also got a Scots/Scotch pine which I will post in a bit. There website is
http://www.bonsainw.com but doesn't really do the place justice.
Any thoughts, comments suggestions or virtuals are welcome. I'm just letting it grow for now...
