This is a bad bonsai but no a bad potensai. If the price is right you might want to consider it.

F. Benjamina can be difficult to ramify, and you have the obvious obstacle, as Carl pointed out, of the pruning scar. Proper hollowing and free branch growth will help. it to heal rapidly, even in Michigan. I have one in my Gallery started in OH so it is possible to grow these thing s up North. Does much better in TX, however.

Basic branch selection for location and taper will induce back budding. Also brush up on your defoliating techniques because they'll come in handy....
