And here's the after picture (taken about two weeks ago). I left some growth on the right side to let the branches thicken a little bit. The height will also be gradually reduced once the growth below thickens more.

Finished height: 14.5" high from soil level
Finished spread: 13.5" wide
Finished pot: Black Plastic Nursery Pot

It was probably more of a learning experience than anything else. This was also much tougher to wire: on this, if you didn't support a branch enough while bending it, the branch would just split--on my ficus I could bend branches each and every way with the least bit of trouble. This is the the pickiest species I've worked with in my few months of bonsai; but although I've heard so many people complain about how these are so picky, I haven't had any problems with it. When the after picture was taken, it had 4 or 5 blooms--this morning it had 19!
