Citharexylum Spinosum - Fiddlewood

Here are some examples of Citharexylum spinosum, was C. quadrangulare.
I think that this is a promising subject for the tropics. I've seen it on many islands here in the Caribbean and even as far away as Hawaii near the convention hotel a few years ago(used as a decorative tree set in sidewalks). There is a similar citharexylem in Florida but this does not seem to grow into a large tree.
Here in the tropics it is one of the few trees on which the leaves turn red before they drop. They are only bare for a few days when the new leaves come out.
I would be very happy to see any other examples of this used as bonsai since I've never seen any.

Here are a few examples of mine. Some are just springing after I defoliated them.
The first photo shows a cu of leaves and berries
of naturally large tree.
