The show, and the high standard that you set, pushed me to go out and get a decent backdrop. Still some work to do before I get everything figured out completely, but I'm already getting better shots than I was last year.

The forest is just leafing out now - I'll post a shot in a few weeks. What do you think about taking the tallest tree down a bit in height and building a new apex out of that front bud, i.e., cutting it off at the red line so that the basic shape is the pair of triangles shown?

Any other suggestions?

Also, I still haven't done any extensive wiring on that forest. As you may remember, I just put together last year and I need to watch its growth pattern for one more season before I have a good feeling for where it wants to go.
