The thing I see with the first one is the jin. The branches with foliage have this very beautiful contorted shape to them, but the jins are just sort of growing out very carefree with no ruggedness to them. Kind of like reverse polarity, to opposites working against each other.

I think you are right about the second tree. On top of that you probably won't find any trees that grow this way either :-)) Sometimes my fantasy runs away from me... I'll try to control myself next time..

You have a good point about the jin on the first tree. I didn't noticed that until now. It makes it all look unbalanced. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
