Thanks for the on-line demo, Matt! I was going to check out the link for that pot until I heard the price tag. I must say that it is very unique. It reminds me of the free form slabs that you see constructed in some of the bonsai mags.

Just curious - what is your experience with pinching back leaves on the hornbeam? I recall that Al mentioned that it was a good idea to leave at least 3 or more. I have been wondering if that is why one of mine seems to be stalled a bit right now.
