Korean Hornbeam Repot
This is an article covering the repot of a Korean Hornbeam. I bought this tree at the Sacramento, CA, GSBF convention several years ago. At that time it didn't have any branches or an apex, and the trunk had some hollows internally as a result of borers.
I carved out the deadwood and filled the voids with a two-part expoxy. In a couple of years the tree was thriving, and the branches have all since been grown on.
