Question Chinese Elm Repotting And Root Over Rock Technique

Hello everyone !
I'm finally getting ready to repot my elm but i have some questions about doing it right.
First of all i'm planing to to do a rock over root style and i was wondering about the best way to fasten the roots on the rock.
The other thing is that i know i should use a big pot for a couple of years in order the roots to grab the rock and grow strong.
(I'm posting some photos of the pot) Is this pot ok? Do i need to open another hole in order to have a good drainage ?
I have also bought through the internet two types of soil:
1.akadama yellow
2.black gold bonsai mix
Do you think i should mix and in what ratio ?
Thats all for now, here are the photos.
