Al, congrats on the succesful air-layer, I have a question though...
I have yet to achieve a succesful air-layer (or any layer for that matter) but all the stuff I've read tells one to leave the moss or growing medium around the new roots, and to not disturb them at all and place the whole mass in a bigger container and wait for the roots to harden.
Now, you show the roots combed out. Obviously you know what you are doing, but how is it that you were able to do this without the roots breaking? My understanding is that fresh air-layer roots are like bean-sprouts, ie very 'snappy'.
I'm not trying to trip you up here, if you have a special method then can we all be in on it
Regards,
TB
