Reading these old posts has me wondering about a summer prune for complete removal of some major limbs. I'm planning a literati and want the cut limbs to heal correctly to blend with the main trunk.
Would waiting til spring to prune still allow the healing or should I cut now (Late JUNE) for the effect of current growth?
