I haven't tried Apricot seeds, but Peaches are quite easy. I just stick them in the ground when I eat a Peach and many of them sprout. I kinda lose track of when I put them in the ground and how long they've been there, but I do know I've had a lot of Peach seedlings available to me over the years. I think they are better candidates for Bonsai than the ones I see in the nursery because of the problems that grafting produces with the trunks. They grow quite rapidly.
