Thumbs up

Hi all,
My name is Steve and I've been into bonsai for about 2 1/2 years now but seriously for about the last 1 1/2. I'm 24 and married living in New York (Schenectady). My ever growing collection consists of about 24 bonsai & 3 potentsai (that # will be getting bigger). I really have too many to list but here goes anyway:

Bonsai: 4 azalea (satsuki)
1 chinese elm (my first)
2 fukien tea
4 juniper nana
3 shimpaku juniper
1 thousand star serissa
1 pink serissa
1 kingsville dwarf boxwood
1 cotoneaster
1 brush cherry
2 trident maples
1 korean hornbeam
1 olive (bucinda spinosa)
1 ficus "too little"

Potentsai: 1 varieagated pink serissa
1 kyoto serissa
1 bougainvillea

Sometimes I think I have too many but what's too many really? I definately consider myself a beginner but I feel like the only way to learn is to jump right in. It is something that like you all I really enjoy. I am definately partial to mame but can appreciate all shapes and sizes. I look forward to learning new things from all of you, it's cool to get different opinions and knowledge from such a diverse group of people who all share a common interest. Once I get a digital camera and learn how to post pictures (I'm a bigger novice when it comes to computers) I will be posting pictures for feedback. Looking forward to future correspondance with you all. -sw
