This Portulacaria afra is an oddball, dug out of the discard heap a couple days after being chopped off of a plant that had been knocked over (not mine). The drying out time gave it some character, althoug it's never really grown well. Another Portulacaria that doesn't fit in a traditional style! If it were growing better, I'd cut all the branches close into the trunk and let it fill out. Sometimes they just get spindly... I figured I'll see how it grows this spring and go from there. The original styling of the trunk was done with wiring and clip and grow methods.
