well ill take a crack at this, but i am no expert in the species. i own two of these and i also water only wheen dry, it is a succulent after all. as for fert. use a bloom booster fert but also with a good amount of nitrogen. one of my plants lost all of its leaves one time, if this happens do not be alarmed they will come back as long as it continues with proper care. i dont see blooms on mine every year, but like i said i am no expert.
