Coffee

Where I live the summer temps are very high average 28 Celsius.
The mix I use is equal parts of. Fine grade akadama sifted, fine grade crushed granite sifted, and Choir peat ( coco peat husks from the coconut )I have used this for about two years now.
I find it very good. We have just come though our hottest summer on record with temps going over 35 Celsius quite regularly.
Before I could get Akadama. I used a high grade general potting mix with the other ingrediants. I had used this for 20+ years. Hope this helps with you high temps. Yours in Bonsai Pup.
Ps I have just started reading Morten's book.
