I was wondering if these are commonplace! It seemed like the kind thing I would stumble onto, and knowing my luck there would be ten thousand of them laying around. Neat to find even if unsigned, I'm pretty pleased.

Nah, it wasn't crisis fire sale or anything. I asked the folks working the booksale and they said they were just selling off some of the older material to make room. They had tons of Bonsai Today back issues, plus a lot of beginners' books from the 70s. Lots of Better Homes and Gardens type material. Anyway, I got the feeling that they couldn't bring themselves to throw them out and held them until this weekend.
