Hey there.

thank you SO MUCH for coming back to my post guys.

Pat:
Thank you so much for you input. Our town is apparently located somewhere a little over 1800 meters above sea level. and you were also right about the forms of the bonsais. The sumo style really spoils the effect. I would love my bonsai to look as realistic as possible. and you nailed the tire swing effect on the head ;-)...I've been looking for the names of these plants. Thank you Gina for the name of the Hydrangea. It helped TONS.

Gina:
Im in Secunda, Mpumalanga. Where Sasol 2 & 3 are located. Its still a pretty small town but I havent found anyone in this town that does bonsai. Im going to advertise in the local newspaper and try make a club of beginners. I figure we can all learn and grow together instead of going solo =). If theres a hidden expert out there somewhere that would take me under their wing even better!!!

Thank you for your input guys!!! lol... Im definately still working on the names for those plants. Had a look for books at the local library and that prooved unsuccessful... So for now Im learning from youTube videos... lol...

Gina is also about the Hydrangea.. the flowers are MUCH to big. lol...

So far Im thinking that pepper tree maybe the best option. But Ive also read rosemary could work too

I feel very welcome in this forum.. thank you SO MUCH GUYS!!!! you rock!

I REALLY appreciate it!
